Wu Yiqiang
Time is still in Wu Yiqiang’s art pieces that are distinctively symbolic. Same face, same hairstyle, and same expression repeatedly appear on the different pictures of his art works. Wu’s art is distinguished from others in terms of depicting young ladies. Just like an accidental push to the door of memory, with an air of fashion. These are typical images of Mao period, blankly string at the front, bewildered behind the grey and indigo color, charming by the plain face, or shy in warm tone. It is scaring .Even the subtle indigo temptations hard to perceive. As a recall to history, Fig series are such fruit that wither even without blossoming, which arouses sympathy from audience’s deep heart.
